Our official first day of Lunar New Year celebrations (aka the day with all of the beer releases) will be Saturday, February 1st. We will release four new beers, including two collaborations with friends near and far. Mark your calendars for our biggest event of the year and show up early to snag red envelope giveaways and get your to-go beers before they're gone. Panda Dim Sum will be on-site from 3:00-8:30pm

Join us at the taproom to watch the Kraken's Lunar New Year Night! We will have special giveaways courtesy of the Seattle Kraken along with great beer and even better company. We will have extended hours for this special event and our taproom will remain open for the duration of the game.

Starting off the year strong with a little Lunar New Year Sneak Peek! We’re releasing our Pineapple Whip Sour Ale and our PCC Year of the Snake IPA brewed with Lemon-Berry Sage Tea. Both of these brews have such vibrant flavor profiles - don’t miss your chance to get a taste.

5.5% ABV - Fruited sour brewed with pineapple soft serve, pineapple puree, and coconut. Because no trip to a mouse-themed amusement park or the Puyallup Fair is complete without pineapple whip.

PCC Year of the Snake IPA brewed with Lemon-Berry Sage Tea
6.2% ABV - We are excited to collaborate with PCC Markets to present a special Lunar New Year IPA in honor of the Year of the Snake! This celebratory IPA is brewed with Strata, Mosaic, and Cashmere hops and infused with Marketspice’s Lemon-Berry Sage Tea. It features a floral and savory hop profile, complemented by refreshing flavors of black tea, lemongrass, and sage.

Limited draft only availability in our taproom. Cans available soon at PCC locations only.

Into the Dark Blue Men’s Group Meeting - First Tuesdays of Every Month

Into the Dark Blue is a nonprofit network of peer to peer men's groups around the U.S. where guys can learn to better understand their emotions, to effectively process the difficult things they struggle with on a daily basis, build community and to have a healthier relationship with alcohol. By doing this we hope to help improve the lives and mindsets of men in the communities we serve, so they're less likely to act out in drastic ways.

We're taking a page out of Iceland's Jólabókaflóð, or “Christmas book flood," and hosting a holiday book exchange event at Obec. Bring a book to add to the gift pile. End up with a new book at the end of the event. Hang out and enjoy your book and your beer with fellow book and beer lovers! (Think white elephant exchange -- but with good books!)

PS: We have a monthly Obec Book Club — we’ll be happy to share more about that with you at this event. Next Book Club meeting is Jan 6!

Check out our selection of bottled beers. They're perfect special occasion beers -- and they look good too-- making them great for gifting to the beer lovers in your life.

Want to try before you buy? Come in on Tuesday night 12/19 to taste a selection of our barrel-aged beers. We'll be pouring 6 barrel-aged beers in 2 oz pours. Tasting fee of $18 waived with a two bottle purchase!

These are sumptuous brews, aged in bourbon, wine, or gin barrels for 8-12 months or more. They're rich, robust, and just all-around delectable versions of some amazing beers. #shindigbeers ftw!
